Damien and Anna
A love story
Piercing blue eyes peered through the window looking in at the young woman sleeping in her bed. It was night and the shadows helped hide him from being seen, if she had been awake. He watched as her long lashes caressed her face. Her dark bangs would fall into her eyes with a turn of her head. How he ached to gently push those bangs aside. He continued up the wall of her house and went up to her roof. He slid down and rested his back against the decorative railing of the house. He sighed and looked up at the full moon.
His name was Damien Dawn, and he was a vampire. He had been a vampire as long as he could remember. He wasn't born a vampire
no, he was created. He was sired by a true vampire many, many years ago. He eventually lost count, but he thought it to be a couple centuries ago, at least. But, just because he was a vampire didn't mean he had to wear clothes from some other century. Damien wore jeans, a white button shirt and a brown jacket. His hair was brown and spiky which showed off his brilliant blue eyes. His features were handsome. His lips were full, and his eyebrows were arched nicely. He had a very sexy smile, and he knew how to use it to charm his way around other women. However, right now one woman was causing him grief.
Her name was Anna Blue. He didn't know exactly how old she was, but she looked to be 16 or 17 years of age. She had short black hair that had bangs colored of pink and white. Her large deep blue eyes were rimmed with dark. She wore normally a skirt and top, with white and black striped arm warmers and a matching scarf.
One day, he had spotted her while she was walking late at night. He himself was out hunting for a victim to feed on. He saw her and thought her to be the perfect choice. He stalked her, following her in the shadows. She had walked to a nearby park and sat on a bench. Her eyes were sad and filled with loneliness. He watched her for a moment, and found that he couldn't bite her at all. Secretly, deep down he too felt lonely and sad. He had been alone for a really long time. It seemed that all that this girl needed was a few friends, maybe eventually a boyfriend. He knew he couldn't be the last one, since he was after all a vampire and he'd ultimately outlive her.
He came out of the shadows and slowly approached her. Since Anna wasn't expecting anyone to be out at this time of night, she was a bit startled to see someone there. She looked up at him. "Who
.who, are you?" she asked, her tone giving away the fact that she was frightened. He looked at her with his piercing blue eyes, and used his vampire powers to calm her a bit. "It's alright, I won't hurt you. I, like you am taking a walk during this lovely night. The moon is quite pretty when it is full, don't you think?" he asked with his charming smile and sexy accent. Damien was careful not to smile wide to show his fangs, since he didn't want to scare her. "It's almost as pretty as you." He continued. Anna blushed a little and looked away. "I'm not pretty at all, I'm plain." She responded a bit sadly. "And because I'm plain, nobody likes me." She added, her tone filled with sadness. Damien slid down onto the bench beside her. "That's not true at all. They're just missing what I see." He said. She turned and looked at him slowly. She looked him up and down for a moment. "Where did you come from? I don't think I've ever seen you around during the day." She commented, sort of purposely changing the subject. "I'm from
.all over really. I never stayed in one place very long. I like seeing new places, and new faces. I don't know how long I'll stay, but I have a feeling it might be a while." He said with another charming smile. He didn't know why exactly he was flirting with her. Sure, he normally charmed his victims before biting them, but he wasn't going to bite this girl. He shook his head slightly. "Forgive me for not introducing myself. I'm Damien." He said and extended his slender hand. She looked at his hand a moment before placing her equally slender hand into his. "Anna. Anna Blue." She replied. He shook her hand gently and then let go. 'It is nice to meet you Anna. I have a feeling this is the start of something very good." He said with a nod and continued to smile.
